FarmLite's 10W Solar panel comes with a back mounted 12V charge controller as well as a 5000 mAh battery pack in a waterproof battery box. You should let the solar panel sit in the sun for up to 2 days to charge the batteries initially.
 
All connections are made prior to shipment so all you need to do is let is charge as needed and plug into your FarmLite Chicken Coop Door!
